All the Diablo II fans out there.... now you can confirm there is definitely have Diablo III in the future because Blizzard already developing it now! Is same like Starcraft II which is the developing phrase and I think Starcraft II will launch first before Diablo III out in the market.
I already watch the cinematic and the game play video for Diablo III and felt that its really a great game and definitely will hotter last time Diablo II. Remain the game style and pattern but improve the background and 3D is getting more realistic. You can break the ground or wall in the game which shows that Blizzard is putting in the directX 10.0 technology with the physic engine effect. Means that every reflection, reaction and object movement is calculate using the real physic formula that give you the real 3D feeling just like in the real life re-action effect.
New classes like Witch Doctor and tristram. Really cant wait for the launch of Diablo III already! I want to play now!!! XD
The Diablo III Fact Sheet and features as provided in the fansite kit.
Diablo III is being developed as the definitive action role-playing game, and a true continuation of the Diablo series. Players will create a hero from one of five distinct classes, such as barbarian, witch doctor, or wizard, each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. As these heroes adventure through rich and varied settings, unraveling an epic storyline and engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, theyll grow in experience and ability and acquire items of incredible power.
The game takes place on Sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, Sanctuary was saved some twenty years ago from the demonic forces of the underworld by a few brave and powerful heroes. Most of those warriors who directly faced the armies of the Burning Hells -- and were fortunate enough to survive -- went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.
Diablo III will be a fitting sequel to Diablo II, with the easy interface, fast-paced action, and visceral gameplay that Diablo players have come to expect and enjoy. It will also include many new features that will take the Diablo action-RPG experience to the next level.
Diablo III Features:
Five powerful character classes to choose from, including the barbarian, witch doctor, and wizard
Brand-new 3D graphics engine enhanced with spectacular visual effects and Havok physics
Numerous indoor and outdoor areas detailing new regions in the world of Sanctuary
Interactive environments with dangerous traps and obstacles, and destructible elements
Randomly generated worlds bolstered by scripted events for endless and dynamic gameplay
Vast assortment of fiendish monsters, with unique attack patterns and behaviors
New quest system and character-customization options for the ultimate action-RPG experience
Multiplayer functionality over Battle.net with support for cooperative and competitive play

Diablo III Reaper of Souls First Look Adventure Mode
Blizzard has posted a preview of the Reaper of Souls expansion pack.
The world of Sanctuary is about to get a whole lot bigger. . .
Introducing: Adventure Mode
In Diablo IIIs upcoming expansion, Reaper of Souls, players will have the opportunity to choose between two different modes whenever creating a new game: Campaign Mode and Adventure Mode.
Campaign Mode
In Campaign Mode, players reprise their pivotal roles as the heroes of Sanctuary. With a greater focus on story, all of the quests, cut-scenes, and in-game movies will remain available to you in this mode. Progression through the games five thrilling Acts is intentionally linear. Campaign Mode is very similar to the current Diablo III experience.
Adventure Mode
In Adventure Mode, the majority of these story-driven elements have been removed and all waypoints have been unlocked, allowing players the freedom to explore and play the game however they likeeven across all Acts. The world itself is your battlefield. Go anywhere, slay anything!
These modes can be accessed at any time, and youre welcome to switch between them whenever you please. In addition, weve unlocked all difficulty levels, giving you even more control over your in-game experience. Dont want to play through the story four times on each of your characters? Done. Looking to farm in Adventure Mode at one difficulty, then switch over to Campaign Mode at a different difficulty? Youve got it.
But thats just the tip of the iceberg. Adventure Mode also includes two brand new, incredibly entertaining gameplay features: Bounties and Nephalem Rifts.
Bounties:
Having the ability to go wherever you want whenever you want is certainly compelling. But, what if youre not in the mood to choose your own adventure and would instead prefer a little direction? Enter Bounties.
Bounties are optional, randomized objectives available only in Adventure Mode. In addition to providing players with a guided experience within a specific Act, Bounties are also intended to showcase all the different content Diablo III has to offer. Some example of Bounties you can pick up include slaying a unique monster (like Mira Eamon), killing a boss (like Queen Aranae), clearing a dungeon (like the Khazra Den), and completing an event (like Last Stand of the Ancients).
Each Act will have its own set of randomized Bounties for players to explore and conquer, and youll receive new Bounties each time you start a new Adventure Mode game.
For completing a set of Bounties, players will receive gold and experience. We also want Bounties to provide access to powerful Legendary items unique to the system, but were still experimenting with how that reward mechanic will work. Definitely stay tuned!
Bounty hunters are also rewarded with a new item, Rift Keystones. Rift Keystones grant access to another feature were introducing in Adventure Mode: Nephalem Rifts.
Nephalem Rifts:
Nephalem Rifts (previously called "Loot Runs") are randomized dungeons that are designed to be completed within 10-15 minutes. The goal of Nephalem Rifts is to provide players with a rewarding, endlessly replayable experience, one that continually offers new and exciting moment-to-moment gameplay. . .as well as heaps of loot. Theyre also what senior level designer Jesse McCree likes to describe as an opportunity to "break all the rules."
So, what does this mean in terms of actual gameplay?
First off, it means that Nephalem Rifts are completely randomized, featuring different content from Acts I-Vrandom interior and exterior tile sets, random layouts, random lighting and weather, random monsters, and (of course) a random boss encounter to cap it all off. Each Nephalem Rift dungeon can be up to 10 levels deep, but even thats random too!
Heres just a peek at some of the crazy combinations you can experience as a result of this design:
In the spirit of breaking all the rules, Nephalem Rifts also include new shrines that will provide players with some pretty insane temporary buffs when activated, things like invulnerability, massive movement speed boosts, and a lightning aura that will one-shot any enemies who get within range. While these shrines would be overpowered in the campaign, they fit well within the self-contained environment of Nephalem Rifts.
Weve had fun experimenting with monster density as well, which means theres always a chance your Nephalem Rift (or even one of the levels within a specific Rift youve opened) might suddenly get a little. . .crowded. For example, what would happen if we paired Skeleton Summoners from Act I and Morlu Incinerators from Act IV? Well, itd look a little something like this:
(Pretty cool, right?)
To access Nephalem Rifts, simply bring a Rift Keystone to any town hub and click on the nearest Nephalem Obelisk. Step through the portal and get ready to kill ALL the things. As noted above, Rift Keystones can be earned by completing Bounties; however, they can also drop randomly anywhere in the world while in Adventure Mode.
Happy hunting!
BlizzCon 2013 Sneak Peek:
As a special treat, weve put together a short video featuring Nephalem Rifts in all their random, chaotic glory. Please enjoy this first look at Diablo III: Reaper of Souls!
If youre at BlizzCon this weekend, you can try out Adventure Mode first-hand at the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls PC demo area in Hall A of the Anaheim Convention Center. Just queue for the "Adventure Mode" line and get ready to explore!

My name is Josh Mosqueira, I am the new game director for Diablo III, and I want to take a moment to say "Hi" and introduce myself.
Im a writer, designer, and lifelong gamer, and I got my official start designing games back in 1996. Thats when I had my first real break as a writer for White Wolf (makers of the Vampire: The Masquerade pen-and-paper role-playing game), when I co-wrote Constantinople by Night and Montreal by Night while serving in the Canadian army and finishing university. After that, I went on to work on a number of popular game series, including Homeworld, Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, and FarCry. However, 1996 is a key year for me for another reason, because its when I, like many of you, was introduced to Diablo.
Having a heavy background in pen-and-paper designspecifically in telling stories and building worlds set in realms of horror and fantasyI was immediately drawn in by Diablo. While the games dark, gothic setting hooked me, it was the intense, fast-paced action gameplay and the thrill of finding awesome loot that kept me coming back for years after.
Thats always been the magic of the game for me. It starts with a setting that pits epic heroes against the teeming, endless hordes of the Burning Hells, in an adventure filled with nonstop, intense action. Its in players facing off against enemies like the Butcher and Diablo, villains who truly capture the essence of evil. And having the alluring promise of new and more powerful treasures around every corner doesnt hurt either.
When I joined Blizzard, I was entrusted with the responsibility of helping to determine whether it would be possible to create a console version of Diablo III and working on what that might look like. I took this responsibility extremely seriously as I wanted to ensure that the legions of players new to the series on console could experience the magical combination of action and treasure hunting that Diablo is known for. It was important to me that we retain that essential core that is Diabloevery player who has ever roamed the shadowy halls of Sanctuarys dungeons, hunting vile demons and looting their corpses, knows it well. My goal has been to help keep that core magic formula going strong with Diablo III, and to continue refining the game, initially for the console version, and now for the game as a whole.
Enjoying the nice weather with a few teammates (left), and our PAX East crew celebrating an epic convention (right).
For me, first as a Blizzard gamer and now as a game designer at the company, Ive always felt that one of the things that sets Blizzard games apart is our passion and commitment to support our games well after launch. Many of the people Ive worked with here have been at Blizzard since the early days of the company, and our heavy focus on putting the games first is the culture they helped create and that everyone here lives by. Thats why we didnt call it a day after launching Diablo III and move on to the next projectthe care, dedication, diligence, and ongoing effort from our development team continued full steam ahead as we listened to and acted on your feedback. We dont just ship a game and leave it at that; we make sure that it grows and evolves after launch.
In the year since Diablo III launched, weve made good strides, but there are still things we can improve and new surprises in store for everyone. As Travis mentioned earlier, itemization is one of our big focuses for Diablo III moving forward. We want items to feel more meaningful, and we want players to be excited about the next loot drop. Our goal is to make the loot experience more enjoyable for ALL players. This includes reducing the amount of loot that drops while improving the overall quality, introducing targeted Legendaries, and giving players ways to directly customize their characters armorboth visually and mechanically. Were also looking into ways to reduce the impact of the Auction House. While we think the feature does provide a lot of value, it shouldnt feel like the end-all-be-all force driving character progression.
Weve built a solid foundation for the future of Diablo III and were focused on staying true to the core essence of the game, while pushing boundaries to evolve gameplay in ways that will keep players like you excited. We hope youll agree that with each update, the game keeps getting better and better, and were only just getting started.
In the future, well be focused on preserving the core fantasy by cultivating the roots of the Diablo storyline, fine-tuning the heroes for what lays ahead, and creating new monsters and demons that will once again plant the seed of fear in your hearts. While some Diablo players out there are just looking for a fun single playthrough of the game, for many others, part of the appeal of the game is coming back again and again to test their mettle against challenging foes in an ongoing search for rare treasures, with the goal of making their heroes more and more powerful. We want to give those players, and really everyone, even more reasons to keep coming back to Sanctuary, and we have some great ideas brewing for ways to address randomization, what our endgame should offer, and how to make playing online with friends truly fulfilling.
To this end, you can expect to hear more from our designers, producers, and directors about what we have in store.
Thanks for being a part of the Diablo family, and well see you in Hell!

After my first post here, some people asked me alot of questions regarding the console version of Diablo III. One of the biggest was, how was it different from the PC version. Well heres a breakdown of the key differences between the 2 versions. WARNING: Long post ahead.
No Real Money/Gold Auction House
One of the most controversial features of the PC version; the Real Money Auction House (RMAH), is not present on the console version of Diablo III. For most old-school Diablo fans (like myself), this brings back the core Diablo experience of finding awesome loot in-game, NOT in auction houses. Another positive thing about the lack of RMAH is...
You can play Completely Offline
Yes you read that right. You can play the game OFFLINE. A side-effect of removing the Auction House, was removal of any need for any online verification to play the game. Thus Blizzard was able to make the most requested feature of alot of Diablo fans a reality. No more logins. No more "Error 37". No more need for Internet connection to be able to play the game... ever! Just pop in the disc, and you can start slaying the denizens of hell to your hearts content.
With yesterdays announcement of Blizzard removing the Auction Houses on the PC version, Im hopeful that an Offline mode will be the next thing that will be implemented by Blizzard.
Loot Rate is FUN again
Yes, Blizzard fine tuned the loot, and made it awesome again. The picture above just show how amazing loots are now in the console version. It actually reminds me of Diablo II (particularly patch 1.10-onwards) where the loot is so rewarding (and addicting) that it keeps you hooked in finding more evil things to slay. It captures the very core of the Diablo experience. The best news is, loots are now custom tailored to drop a higher percentage of items that are suited to whatever class youre playing as. In my personal experience, I have actually gotten my fair share of awesome Legendary items. Heres some of what my Demon Hunter found in-game, when I was just starting out at Normal Mode.
If this is but a taste of what "Loot 2.0" will be for the PC version, Im all for it!
Reworked Boss Fights
Some of the Boss fights in the console version of Diablo III, has been retweaked. They are either given new abilities, new attack patterns, new dialogue, and even new view angles (as seen on top with the Belial boss fight, which looks more epic than ever before) which gives the game a fresh new look and feel, even if youve played the game before on your PC.
A completely new way of playing... using a Gamepad
Mouse + keyboard controls are NOT supported on the console version of Diablo III. Instead, the game is controlled using a gamepad. And after spending much time playing it this way, I actually prefer this method than the mouse + keyboard config. Now, before you raise your pitchforks and claim "sacrilege", I suggest you give it a try first. It feels as if you have a much more direct control over your character than using mouse + keyboard. Yes you will lose the precision of directly targeting specific enemies from afar using this setup, BUT with the games smart auto-targeting system and Target lock, you wont feel too frustrated dishing out punishment to the denizens of hell. Which brings me to...
The new "Evade" Button Mechanic
As I mentioned in my previous post, exclusive to the console version of Diablo III, is the new "Evade" mechanic. It is an indispensible ability that ALL CLASSES have, which can save you from very hectic situations. It has no cooldown, no cost to use, ensures you dont get hit by monsters/incoming projectiles if timed correctly and is totally very useful throughout your adventure. You can see it in action by watching the clip above (being spoofed by Team Coco at the 1:05 mark).
Completely reworked Inventory System
This is how the Inventory system looked on the PC version:
Its got the usual, familiar look as in the previous Diablo games. Item management in your inventory is pretty much a mini-game of its own, where you try to fit in as much loot that you can, using Tetris-like skills to make everything fit. On the console version, it looks like this:
It may be a stark change from the usual, since the console version of the game doesnt support mouse + keyboards. As clunky as this may look, it actually has some benefits:
All items are now organized by its item-type, making it easier to sort thru items.
If you noticed below, theres an "Inventory" limit (which says 22/60). This means you can loot as many as 60 items at a time, regardless of its size, as each item is treated as a value of 1. This means lesser trips back to town and time spent making every item fit in your bag.
Its easier to compare detailed stats between 2 items as they are placed side by side. Heres how it looks like:
Theres is now a quick stat guide for those who are not into reading tons of stat effect text. This is great for new players, so that can quickly and easily see whether or not an item is better than the one they are currently holding by just looking at the quick stat guide.
Mutliple ways of Playing Multiplayer
First off, there is no cross-platform multiplayer for the console version of Diablo III. What this means is, PC gamers cannot play with PS3/Xbox360 gamers, just as PS3 gamers cannot play with Xbox 360 gamers. That being said, there is alot of different options for console gamers to play multiplayer with friends:
Offline local co-op - one of the highlights of the console version of Diablo III, is this mode. Playing with friends on a single console in the same room, is an experience that is hard to beat. No internet required (but pizza and chips are recommended).
LAN Play - if you dont want to share the screen with buddies, then you can hook up 2 PS3 via LAN cable and play multiplayer with your respective screens all to yourself (just like in the PC version).
Invite Only - if you want to play online, but you dont like random people popping in your game, then you can invite friends over to join in your game.
Friends Only - similar to "Invite Only", but in this mode, you dont need to invite friends to come play. If you set your game to this mode, you simply put up a game room online where only your friends on your friends list can see and join in at anytime while youre playing.
Open to Public - similar to "Friends Only", but in this mode you put up a game room online where everyone online can see and join in your game at anytime while youre playing.
Quick Match - in this mode, you can search for hosted online games and automatically joins you in the said game. You can set the search based its on its Difficulty level, Mode, Quest, etc.
Adjustable Difficulty modes
As I mentioned in my previous post, the console version of Diablo III allows players to adjust the difficulty to suit their tastes. Unlike the Game mode (Normal, Nightmare, Hell, Inferno), Difficulty simply adjusts a monsters health, damage and number of monsters that appear on the screen.
This is perfect for players with varying experiences with the series. If youre just new to the series (or youre a PC player who isnt used to playing using a gamepad), set it to easy. If youre a Diablo vet and youre comfortable playing with a gamepad, then set it to either Medium or Hard. All 3 difficulty modes (Easy, Medium, Hard) has no differences in terms of item drop rate and experience points bonuses, thus you can switch between difficulties with no problems.
However, if you are up to the challenge, you can set the difficulty to Master I or higher. Setting up the difficulty in this level gives bonuses similar to "Monster Power" mechanic found on the PC version, but works differently for the console version. Heres a quick guide:
Master I = +60% Magic Find, +60% Gold Find, +120% XP Bonus
Master II = +70% Magic Find, +70% Gold Find, +140% XP Bonus
Master III = +80% Magic Find, +80% Gold Find, +160% XP Bonus
Master IV = +90% Magic Find, +90% Gold Find, +180% XP Bonus
Master V = +100% Magic Find, +100% Gold Find, +200% XP Bonus
Other Notable Differences
Aside from the ones I posted above, here are some notable differences from between the console version & the PC version of Diablo III:
Paragon Levels are included in the console version. However, whats different is, Paragon Level bonuses are account wide. This means all characters under your account will receive the bonuses unlocked by a SINGLE Paragon leveled character in your account. So even new characters you create will get those bonuses as well.
Nephalem Glory globes are added in the game. These are similar to Healing globes, but they give characters a boost in stats and skills when picked up.
Stash space is much more larger than in the PC version when fully upgraded.
Crafting gems & gear now have different costs, due to the removal of the RMAH. All ingredients can be easily found in-game.
Players are now given a choice how they should be resurrected (go back to town, revive on your last checkpoint, revive on spot).
Vendors now actually sell better (useful) gear. Most of which are actually powerful rare items.
So what do you guys think? Sound off your comments below! :)

Diablo III Console Hands On Preview from Edge Online
Edge Online has posted a review of their time spent with the console version (PS3, PS4 is also planned) of Diablo III. To see the full article, check out the Diablo III PS3 hands-on article over at Edge Online. Here is a quote from the article:
"A 15-minute demo isnt the best way to experience Diablo III, admittedly. The long game lies in the gear management, in kitting out your chosen character with absurdly powerful weapons and armour in order to cut an effortless swathe through the demonic hordes and pick up even more powerful loot. What is clear from the demo is that Blizzards made a considerable effort to retool skill and item management for a controller and a big TV screen.
The pause screen is home to radial menus for speedy selection of gear and attacks, but tweaks to the game design are focused on having players spend as little time in such menus as possible. There will be fewer but better loot drops than were found in last years PC version of the game, for instance. Stand over an item and youll be able to see immediately whether its worth your time, and you can either equip, collect or discard it with a quick press of a face button.
The decision to minimise time spent in menus chimes well with a game that, thanks to free left-stick movement and that right-stick dodge, feels a little pacier than the original.
Its far from a complete picture, then, but it does feel like Diablo III has been cut down a little for consoles. It certainly feels more like an action game than before a genre for which PS3 players are hardly starved. And we can only imagine that the subset of PC players who want to play a lighter, pacier version of a game theyve already played is rather small, even if they can do it from their sofa."
There is currently no exact release date for the PlayStation 3 version of Diablo III (we know it will be released sometime this year though) but there is information that the console version will have tweaked drop rates and no auction house.
