DINKER W3A 4

So many good replay packs lately. My 4th pack of games from W3Arena and I gotta say that it is very special and dear to me. That is why I will write something about the games and players/ trolls that I played.

Replay pack has a total of 10 games and it includes games against trolls who got owned, wannabes who were put in place and opponents who should be respected. You wont see long, whiny chats in my games because that is not my way of behaving. Some people, when they are powerless, spam the chat because that field is the only one that is left to be conquered. Still, if the chat is spammed with taste, humor and good CAPS usage, I like to see it because it makes sense. Writing long and boring stories is totally not gaming-like. You wont see that in my replays.

Have fun watching them and feel free to share them on Replayers or where ever you want. I started doing this with my replay packs and replay packs of other people because I noticed that there were no games from W3Arena on Replayers at all. And that is total madness. I will upload games on Replayers if they are meant to be in my 1337 replays category but I wont upload each game from replay pack there because I am happy if they are only here, on my blog but I am even more happier to see good people like DeathWing who puts them on Replayers as well. That is how things are supposed to be done. Cooperation. Understanding. Friendship. That is how gentlemen behave. And that is totally opposite from trolls.

GAMES

Game against 20.in.my.pocket. was very interesting. This semi-good NE tried to tower rush me on Secret Valley but he made one tiny mistake when I spotted his army heading to my base. Troll called me a hacker after that, probably because he felt powerless.

Against Felix261192, who is dear friend of mine, I played on some heavy delay and went for one of my trademark strategies and on the other side Felix didnt play so standard and game went into that deep macro mode which, of course, favors my play.

Mirror match against a player called Leco is one of my favorites because in this game I used my lovely Shrederz and we all know why and against who I am using Shrederz. I also did some very nice moves there but the thing is that I was able to do all of that because my opponents playing qualities are nowhere near mine. The game is pretty unequal but enjoyable because of the strategy I used and cool moves I made.

Replay pack wouldnt be replay pack if there is no game against our favorite minion El Tonto aka Ghost.Retorno. Obviously, I was lucky enough to match one of his 22+ accounts on W3Arena and to kill him on Secret Valley. Pretty standard game against minion where I decided to play rifle/caster because I wanted a safe win. Oh, he was on account Life.isnt.Fair. LOL!

Game against NE player called Rambo was played on new Plunder Isle where I showed my opponent how much I like new PI in these matches. He took both shops, had items and levels but that wasnt enough because I played an amazing game in there which resulted in very comfortable win.

Another game from new Plunder Isle in which my opponent stated that this is the first time that he plays the map. I dont know if Sanch34 lied about that but I know that I used Shrederz because I had the feeling that he lied. If he didnt I am sorry but I am not sorry for Shrederz. Game has that 1337 note.

One of many games played against Schappi who has really good attitude and my full support. One of the games where NE has the position, favored battleground and the match up but doesnt win because of mega good Dinker who sits on the other side with perfect gaming plan.

Game against Taker.UD, also known as n1ce.Taker, to whom I was more than kind in the past but that will change because I found out that he is one little wannabe troll and I found that from first hand, was very enjoyable because I broke that popular NE strategy on Tranquil Paths and played a very nice game from the beginning till the end.

Against TrainThatShit, also known as Nomad) who was always a semi-good player in the past but seems like he improved his gaming skills and manners on W3Arena, I played several nice games and this is one of those. I dont tank my opponents unless they are going for some no-brainer strategy and then I tank them only to give them lesson. In these type of games I tend to play something which puts me in harder position and then to fight back. I did it well in this game.

Game against NE smurfer WatMeiCum is one of those short, precise and clean ownages in which I used full potential of my position and exploited the weakest spots in my opponents play.

Disgaea 4 A Promise Unforgotten PS3 A return to form Dood!

Lets do a quick math problem shall we? What do you get when you add 650 hours + 211hrs + 28hrs + 97hrs + 59hrs? You get the embarrassingly large amount of time I have spent playing Disgaea games. Each one of those digits represents the time stamp on of my save files. So if you havent figured it out already, I kinda like these games. And even sadder, those numbers dont include the offshot titles produced by the same company like La Pucelle Tactics, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, Soul Nomad, or Raphsody just to name a few more.

The first entry of this series Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is heralded by its cult following as one of the best tactical RPGs ever released. Boasting incredibly depth, Fun characters, incredible customization, and a tounge in cheek story light that goes from goofy to brilliant in a heartbeat makes it one of the most memorable games Ive ever played. The story will play you about 40 to 60 hours. But if you look at my 650 hour save you can see that I still havent done everything the game has to offer. With different aspects like character reincarnation, tons of hidden levels and bosses, character throwing and Geo panels, the first Disgaea was nothing short of phenomenal. Since its release there have been sequels and offshoot series, but nothing has matched up to the first one. And I can tell you the three reasons why:

Meet Laharl, Flonne, and Etna. The reasons to play Disgaea

The story of demons, angels, and humans may be the overall driving point of the story, but the dynamic of these three characters are what make it special. Their tongue and cheek attitude to each other and other characters is hilarious in every chapter almost to the point of being nauseating to the non-anime fan, but if you can stick through it, when the main climax starts to roll up the they show such development as characters to real make you feel for them even if you are getting the good or bad endings (one that is particularly heart wrenching). Both of which are equally satisfying and drive you to play through the game more than once. Which is great because the game lets you keep your characters and levels.

Sadly, because of these three hitting the mark so perfectly it makes it almost impossible to repeat this. So when the 2nd came out, I knew this and took Adell and Rozalin as their own pairing and found them to be just as entertaining in their own interesting dynamic. The 3rd one however really missed the point. The game was fun to play the but the story was just awful. So it was with a little hesitation I jumped into the newest installment of a game I loved so much.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten: (PS3)

The game starts off with you controlling Tyrant Valvatorez, a vampire who has lost his powers and relegated to his new role as a Prinny Instructor in Hades with his servant, a Werewolf by the name of Fenrich. (For those who dont know, a prinny is basically the soul of a human trapped in an combustible penguin demon form who is forced to work essentially slave labor to atone of their sins in life in heaven or hell). Val sustains what little power he has left through an obsession with sardines. Fenrich makes multiple efforts to try to make Val drink blood again to regain his powers that make him a tyrant, which Val ardently refuses to keep promise he made years ago. While he is about to reward his graduating class for completing their prinny training before they go on the Netherworld or Celestia, a vortex rips them away to be destroyed and he follows after them to maintain the promise he gave. Here the game begins.

Generally the play style of Disgaea maintains its core roots. The sprites are much better detailed this time through but the game gives you the option to go to the classic sprite style. It uses the same grid tactics system you would see from its previous installments, and after a few tutorials you are pretty much free to go after all the features of the game right from the get go. You start off each chapter in your home base where you can equip your characters, run to the item world, talk to some of the inhabitants, or go to your Cam-Pain headquarters.

The Cam-pain HQ, for those who played 3, is essentially the same as the classroom system. Here is where you can create your new characters and adjust their bonuses. The Senate voting system comes back here as well. For those who havent played Disgaea, you use the senate if you wish to get better equipment for the store, unlock new powerups for your map, raise or lower the difficulty of the levels, unlocked new character classes, open additional levels, and a myriad of other things as well. Many of the same tricks you might have learned in past editions are there as well. Such as a cheap trick to make some extra money. When you use the hospital and they give you and item for healing so much, instead of taking the item right away, back out and check it again. Doing this gives you the chance for a rare version of the item which will have better stats and value if you need to sell it. They did take away the ability to get Legendary items from this as I havent been able to do so.

They went back to the Skills and Evilitiy shop for getting new attacks and abilities. Before in the older versions when you would play, every class as an aptitude for certain weapons. And the more you used them, the more special attacks you would get. I preferred this because it was easier to boost up a character. In this there is a shop you spend the mana you earn from killing baddies to unlock new attacks and level up their strength or attack range, its slower and kinda forces you to keep using the same characters, so if youve built 20 characters some of them are going to ride the bench.

Disgaeas best attribute in the actual play is something that they hold over most tactics games is the ability to make changes to you selections after you make them. Meaning if you line up 3 or 4 people to make an attack on a certain enemy, but then realize youd rather go somewhere else, you can can cancel out those selections as long as you did not execute them aside form a move. Most Disgaea vets use this constantly, as you can move characters towards your healer, have them cast their heal and then undo the moves to put them right back in the fray. The tower throwing and attacks come back as well, with a slew of new tower attacks to use to help level up those lower level characters.

Doing a review for a game like Disgaea is difficult because there are so many different features to talk about that I could go on forever. Now like I said earlier, I came into this installment a little sluggishly because with Disgaea, the story is everything. Three was fun to play but the tale was so uninteresting it really took away from the game. It just didnt have any of the magic that the first two had. For the first few hours of the game, I did get a bit of a chuckle out of some of the scenes but I wasnt rushing to play it. But as I was trudging along in the game, I found Valvatorez to be a very likable character. He sometimes is downright hokey in his heroic banter or sage like advice for the other characters, yet in the very same conversation is so absent minded that he can be manipulated by Fenrich at will. But almost every single bit of banter he has with characters made me laugh through the course of the game with every chapter raising a new question to be answered as you play. And while the overall story branches into a series of different sub paths as every single character seems to have a different motivation, The climax at the end pretty much has me completely gripped that Im ignoring the shit I need to do to try to finish the game to see how it all ties up.

So not every line is gold....

I guess what I am saying is that this one brought Disgaea back for me. Even as I write this article with homework sitting on the desk in front of me Im thinking about flipping the game back on to get a little more level grinding to start ubering my characters to shred through playthroughs to see the other endings the game has to offer. If you are a fan of Tactical RPGS, dont mind some anime cliches or pop culture references, or are looking for a story that doesnt take itself too seriously then I would highly recommend Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten.

Which probably doesnt mean much coming from me.

Devil May Cry 4 DEMO

Acaba de ser lan�ado para computador a vers�o para testes do quarto game da consagrada s�rie Devil May Cry. O jogo, que � uma seq��ncia direta do primeiro game, trata de um enredo baseado em trai��es e traz um novo protagonista � tona.

Hist�ria

A hist�ria de Devil May Cry 4 remete ao protagonista Nero, um jovem que � meio humano e meio dem�nio, pertencente a um grupo que idolatra Sparda, pai de Dante e respons�vel pela morte do temido dem�nio Murdus.

Dante � e sempre foi respeitado por sua ascend�ncia, at� que, momentos depois, ele mata o l�der do grupo ao qual Nero pertence, denominado Holy Knights Order. A partir desse momento, ele torna-se o antagonista da trama e alvo do personagem principal.

Nero vem para vingar-se de Dante nessa edi��o.

O novo her�i!

Nero agora � tido como o personagem principal do jogo, embora algumas fases sejam jogadas com Dante. O novo protagonista tem como armas a espada Red Queen, o rev�lver Blue Rose e os poderes exclusivos de sua demon�aca m�o direita, chamada de Devil Bringer.

Sua espada apresenta uma barra de energia chamada �Exceed�, que pode ser carregada ao golpear os inimigos e permite ataques bem mais poderosos que os normais. Os poderes da m�o de Nero podem agarrar os inimigos e traz�-los para perto ou vice-versa.

Posteriormente, ela poder� receber novos poderes, como detectar segredos dentro dos cen�rios e coletar itens � dist�ncia. A m�o serve, ainda, para transportar Nero em certos pontos do cen�rio, inacess�veis de outra forma.

No decorrer do game, Nero recebe a habilidade �Devil Trigger�, que incrementa os poderes de sua garra, modificando os ataques dela em golpes ainda mais poderosos e destruidores, ideal para momentos cruciais dentro do jogo.

O anti-her�i

Dante est� presente em sete miss�es do game completo, participando, basicamente, a partir da metade dele. O modo de jogar com ele � muito semelhante ao de Devil may Cry 3, com v�rios golpes pr�ximos com a espada ou armas de longa dist�ncia, ganhadas ap�s batalhas contra chefes, permitindo alternar entre elas livremente durante as batalhas.

Dante come�a o jogo com quatro estilos de luta, chamados Trickster, Royal Guard, Sword Master e Gunslinger, cada um com diferentes habilidades e novamente permitindo alternar entre eles rapidamente no decorrer do game.

Ele tamb�m possui o Devil Trigger, que, embora n�o seja t�o eficaz quanto o de Nero, permite a Dante realizar algumas habilidades especiais, como o Triple Jump e a Double Sky Star, enquanto utiliza o modo de combate Trickster.

Modos de jogo

Por ser uma vers�o para testes, apenas dois modos de jogo est�o inclusos para os gamers. O primeiro deles � denominado Exterminator e, basicamente, permite ao jogador tentar chegar o mais longe poss�vel dentro de dez minutos de jogo.

Voc� enfrentar� v�rios inimigos, logo no in�cio do cen�rio, e aos poucos pequenas dicas de golpes aparecer�o na tela, mostrando os comandos para usu�rios que possuam o controle do Xbox ou teclado.

O segundo e �ltimo modo de jogo � chamado Executioner e possibilitar� aos jogadores enfrentar inimigos mais fortes, como dois seres de gelo e o chefe final da vers�o.

DADOS T�CNICOS

Devil May Cry 4, da mesma forma que o game pioneiro da s�rie fez no Playstation 2, apresenta excelente qualidade no que se refere aos seus gr�ficos. As texturas dos personagens s�o muito bem elaboradas e delineadas, semelhantemente ao cen�rio.

H� diversos efeitos de luz e sombra dentro do jogo, ambos impec�veis. Embora a vers�o de demonstra��o possibilite uma resolu��o m�xima de 1024X768 pixels, nota-se que a qualidade gr�fica no computador supera as vers�es para Playstation 3 e Xbox 360.

Al�m disso, como prometido pela Capcom, o jogo roda em boas velocidades de quadros por segundo, tornando-o din�mico e muito r�pido. Vale lembrar que tais caracter�sticas exigem do usu�rio uma �tima configura��o de hardware para aproveitar os recursos do game ao m�ximo.

Um dos melhores games do ano chega para o computador.

Os sons do jogo s�o todos de boa qualidade e n�o apresentaram nenhum tipo de falha ou defeito durante os testes, dando um clima que mescla suspense e a��o dentro dos cen�rios e batalhas do game.

A jogabilidade de Devil May Cry 4 � funcional e muito semelhante aos seus antecessores. O game pode ser jogado atrav�s do controle do Xbox ou teclado, com tutoriais e configura��es separadas para cada modo. Nero e Dante t�m movimentos parecidos com os games anteriores da s�rie e alguns ajustes foram feitos, tornando os menus e configura��es mais din�micos para o jogador.

Os personagens se movem com flu�ncia dentro do cen�rio e os modos de batalha s�o eficazes. Voc� n�o ter� dificuldades em enfrentar chefes ou grandes levas de inimigos, pelas op��es de travar a mira em inimigos espec�ficos e golpe�-los de frente. As novas habilidades de Nero s�o usadas com bom gosto e tornam a experi�ncia de jogo inovadora em rela��o �s vers�es anteriores.

Distro NuTyX 8 2 93 Rereased Update to Python 3 Kernel 4 9 2

The developers of NuTyX, a distribution derived from Linux From Scratch with a custom package manager called "cards", have announced the availability of a new development snapshot. The new development release, NuTyX 8.2.93, is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit builds. A number of fixes have been applied to improve wireless networking and the default version of Python has been updated to Python 3

What is NuTyX ?

NuTyX began as a French Linux distribution which has added multi-language support. The distribution is created from Linux From Scratch and Beyond Linux From Scratch, with a custom package manager called "cards". The package manager can install individual binary packages, a group of related binary packages (e.g. desktop packages, such as KDE or Xfce), and compile source packages from "ports". The distribution is designed for intermediate and advanced Linux users.

The 10 benefits of NuTyX

You can install NuTyX from almost any other distribution, thanks to the BASH script named install-nutyx. This can be downloaded, study it carefully to see what it will do, then launch it from the host distribution. Briefly, the script will check for all the necessary tools, then start the download of a minimal set of packages and finally install them in the location you specified. Details and explanations can be found here.
The hierarchical ports collection system provides maximum flexibility in managing software. Each collection is divided into a mandatory and an extra part.
A very simple method called porting allows you to download a recipe from our repositories. This recipe is very similar to the scripts used in CRUX, and is usually less than 10 lines long. It can also determine and apply all needed Dependencies.
It has the ability, once installed in a folder, to produce a personalized installable ISO version of NuTyX. The new live version can also be re-installed on other machines, should you so desire.
It allows you to install a complete base binary package or a selection of individual base binaries packages. For example: devel, man, doc and lib.
It has no need of a separate HDD or partition. The NuTyX installer creates a virtual environment and therefore is able to install/re-install without formatting the target disk or partition.
It has unique installation coding, that prevents the NuTyX installer from FORMATTING the target partition. This means that NuTyX can be installed on a partition containing data: (for example) personal files and various non-system folders.
It has a very powerful, yet simple command which allows you to revert to the base system and completely change the graphical user interface (for example from KDE to XFCE). This makes it unnecessary to reinstall or download every package again. The already downloaded packages will be simply be reinstalled automatically if still uptodate.
It has a totally unique package manager made of expandable modules. It has no dependencies except glibc. One of its strong points is the ability to discover binary (run-time) dependencies automatically.
It has the ability to compile all the packages properly per level in a dedicated chroot environment. After compilation, all the dependencies are again checked to make sure no broken links are found.
