Sometimes there are solutions to a problem that are so simple you couldnt possibly come up with them. Or can you? Why not try making a makeshift cable holder from two sticky notes? Its probably not the most elegant solution, but it worked for me today when I had to use a cable mouse and it was always getting stuck under the foot of my display.
